Zedge

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Zedge team! You will be the technical lead for the data scientist team, create ML models for business critical applications, help non-technical users with our A/B testing platform and do advanced statistical analysis, leveraging our large volumes of heterogeneous data.

Please note that this position is temporary to cover a person on maternity leave (expected duration: 18 months)

Responsibilities:

⚡️ Share your technical expertise on Machine learning, software development, SQL and other aspects of data science to the team of data scientists

⚡️ Prepare data for analysis and support A/B testing.

⚡️ Evaluate and validate model performance.

⚡️ End-to-end development of Statistical and ML models from prototypes to production

⚡️ Expert knowledge and application of ML models and statistics in big data environments

⚡️ Build automation around deploying models and work with the DE team

⚡️ Create and standardise coding and review processes

⚡️ Excellent communication of technical details from results of ML and statistical analysis

⚡️ Develop and maintain documentation from data products

⚡️ Build and maintain data science infrastructure:

    ⚡️ Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient data access and processing.

    ⚡️ Collaborate with Data engineers and DevOps to ensure scalability and reliability of data platforms.

    Requirements:

    💪 Advanced Degree in computer science, mathematics, data science or other related fields

    💪 Proven work experience, at least 5 years of working as a data scientist and mentoring junior team members

    💪 Proficiency with Python and libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas

    💪 Deep knowledge of ML frameworks, data structures, data modelling and software architecture

    💪 Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    💪 Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

    💪 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    💪 Proven track record of leading and delivering successful data science projects.

    💪 Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.

    💪 Experience with Big Data technologies like Big query, Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
